each track uses the fact that its digital hardcore in its own unique way each time, rarely sounding similar to the other despite generally being noisy and in your face. i find this to be especially helped by Machine Girl's usage of unique samples or their own voices, which i can barely understand but honestly it really adds to the charm and aesthetic of this release. i know this album is 7 years old at the time of writing this, but it still holds up incredibly well. As haunting and hypnotizing as going through the MGS series in release order and growing more and more captivated by the fandom's fabled Venom Snake without knowing a single thing about him. No, but seriously, this album is a work of art to transport you far, far away, an idea that draws you into the abstract. quietis
