Following a number of label released and self released collections, Spurz presents his debut album, Loud Futures, for Apothecary Compositions as an immersive effort to explore multiple narratives while subtly weaving together elements of his influences including techno, grime, jungle, dubstep, and hard house/trance.

At its core, the album hinges on the concept of opposites. Harsh, concrete, mechanical hearts that pump underneath warm, humming, mist-filled lungs. Bombastic cannon rhythms that pummel forward, only to give way to cavernous glimpses of ambiance, ideas derived from a piece of short prose written by Spurz; You Should Mind Those With Quiet Dreams And Loud Futures.

With these clear juxtapositions, Spurz succeeds at meshing many re-purposed elements of the varied selections that end up in his DJ sets. The result is something not beyond the dancefloor nor bound by the traditions of club-worthy exercises.

Loud Futures is a testament to Spurz' unique voice and steadfast determination to unite listeners from all walks of life in music and dance.

The album is dedicated to the memory of Conrad Łojko, a close friend of Spurz whose light left us too soon but whose love will never be forgotten.
